The age group of children usually admitted for UG is roughly between 17-22 years - whom we call ‘young adults’. Most of these young adults till the completion of their PUC/ XII are nurtured and brought up in very protective environments by their caring parents. Hence, some children lack practicality in life skills including mature response mechanisms to a lot of detrimental outside-exposure.

If you are a parent who is worried about your child’s safety, which includes ragging issues, gender sensitisation issues, drug issues, etc. let me reassure you that Sharada College is a safe place for your child. In line with the UGC directives and management policies the institution has zero tolerance towards these things. If you are a parent who wants your child to be self-reliant, then our residential facility is your best choice. We provide not just academic nurturing but practical hands-on sessions to help them in their life skills including the very basics. Whether a disciplined environment is needed for UG education or not is another debated topic in higher education. However, the lack of discipline amounts to the over-exploitation of resources, and an exaggerated sense of conceitedness. We at Sharada believe in the holistic development of our students. Traditionally as per the Indian educational philosophy, we believe that a student should be educated about everything, which includes health, hygiene, basics of agriculture, management, organisation, etc., including the other academic subjects so that it develops the student holistically. We practically implement it in our college. Our ideology is the nationalist ideology - it is the responsibility of each and every student of this nation to contribute to nation building and the progress of this great nation for global acclaim. Hence, we continuously strive to give our students sessions in entrepreneurship (start-ups included) and innovation by motivating them to participate in hackathon challenges and boot camps. Moreover, we regularly conduct industry- academia sessions, and invited-talks by eminent personalities belonging to different walks of life. Personalised coaching and personal attention is another speciality of ours that we offer. Internships and placements are the best in the industry at UG level.
