SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Dept. of Science and Technology was established in the year 2013. The Department offers four UG Programmes:

  1. BCA
  2. BCA (Honours)
  3. B.Sc. Animation and Visual Effects
  4. B.Sc. Animation and Visual Effects (Honours)

The programmes are designed to function as an intermediate between the industry and academic institutes. The curriculum includes latest technologies to prepare the student for the future. The student gains a strong foundation and skills in the field. The infrastructure provides an excellent environment for the student to contribute effectively in the field.

The academic excellence of the students is a prime concern to the department but the department also caters to nurturing their skills in co-curricular activities. The faculty members are committed to teaching goals of the highest standards and we also have experienced hands from the industry. During the formation of the syllabus, focus is given on the current trend of the industries so that the students acquire the skills related to design development and problem solving, etc.  

  • BCA: A successful BCA graduate has several career options such as: Test Engineer, System Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Database Administrator, Programmer, Digital Marketing, Software Developer, etc. The jobs could also be in banking and engineering sectors apart from the regular technological sectors.

  • B.Sc. Animation and Visual Effects: A Successful B.Sc. Animation and Visual Effects graduate has several career options such as: Art Director, Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Animation Graphic Artist, Game Developer, etc. The various sectors would include but not limited to the IT and Mobile technologies, media, advertising and such creative industries.

Industry – Academia Interface, Industry Visits, Internships, Practical Exposure to jobs, Entrepreneurship Training, etc. are the other major highlights of the UG programmes we offer.

COMMERCE & MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Commerce & Management was established in the year 2010. The Department offers five UG Programmes:

  1. B.Com.
  2. B.Com. (Honours)
  3. Integrated B.Com. (CA)
  4. BBA
  5. BBA (Honours)

The programmes aim to build students’ competence through intensive understanding and focus on their advanced studies in streams like, finance, accounting, cost and taxation so as to enable them to choose their area of interest for higher studies or career.  

The department not only concentrates on the academic excellence of its students but also nurtures their co-curricular activities. The faculty members are committed to teaching goals of the highest standards and we even have experienced hands from the industry. During the formation of the syllabus, focus is given on the current trend of the industries so that the students acquire the required skills and competencies.

  • B.Com.: A successful B.Com. graduate has several career options and opportunities. He/She may opt for MBA, CA, M.Com, or degrees in Digital Marketing. The recruiters may be Business Consultancies, Educational Institutes, Public Accounting Firms, Hospitality Industry, Tourism Industry, Banking and financial Institutions ,Insurance sector ,Accounting and Auditing Firms ,BPO, etc. The various job categories would include but not limited to Budget Planning, Policy Planning, Inventory Control, Merchant Banking, Marketing, etc. The various positions which B.Com. graduates can assume would be Accountant, Auditor, Business Consultant, Cost estimator, Business Analyst, Finance Officer, Sales Analyst ,Junior Analyst, Tax Accountant ,Business Development trainee etc.
  • Integrated B.Com. (CA): The department offers trained faculty members to fulfill the students’ aspirations in clearing the CA foundation and Intermediate exams so that they can save their precious years of under graduation and right away invest it in a prestigious career option like CA. These students can apply for the main exams immediately after the successful completion of their B.Com. Degree.
  • BBA: A Bachelor of Business Administration also Known as BBA is indeed one of India’s most popular undergraduate courses. There are various career options and opportunities. He/She may opt for PGDM, MBA, apart from Degrees in Retail Management, Event Management, etc. after successful completion of the UG degree. MNCs, Export firms, Banks, Medical companies, and many more are the potential recruiters. The job roles provide a wide range from an Entrepreneur to an employee such as Finance Manager, Marketing Manager, HR Manager, Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, Information System Manager, etc.
