Commerce and Management Association is an association of Commerce and Management students, formed by the Department of Commerce and Management in the academic year 2021-22. The Commerce and Management association conducts various activities concerned with the overall development of students. All programmes and activities undertaken by the association are totally managed by the student members of the association only; the Commerce and Management Association Faculty Convener and Committee members act as a guiding force for the smooth functioning of the programmes organized by the association.
Aims & Objectives of Commerce Association
- To provide career guidance & help students to achieve their goal.
- To support with the necessary information about recent trends in commerce & management.
- To facilitate guest lectures, seminars, experts talk, academic events, data collection for research purposes, etc. for students.
- To inculcate leadership qualities among students.
- To build confidence & overall personality development of students.
- To organise Industrial Visits, field visits for students to get practical knowledge about the business world.
- To make students responsible citizens of our country.
Commerce and Management Association provides a platform for the students to exhibit their talents in various commerce-related events and also help them to enhance their analytical and decision-making skills. The events which we offer will extend a platform to grasp teamwork, critical thinking, and creative learning and also to build self-confidence.
The significant and major events of our association include Best Manager, Business Plan, Business Quiz, Marketing, HRM, Public Relation, Mock Stock and Financial Analysis, Negotiations, Poster writing, Treasure Hunt, Group Discussions, Invited Talks, Debates, JAM, GDs, Mad-ads and such various competitions to improve not only their communication skills but their overall personality development.
The finest thing of all the activities we organize are not just for fun, they are literally related to the commerce stream and will give an exposure to real-world work experience. Apart from all these activities students are also permitted to participate and represent the college in various competitions organized by other institutions.
